Shane McMahon’s Son Visited Performance Center; Continues To Tease WWE Appearance

Shane McMahon Declan McMahon WWE WrestleMania

Shane McMahon’s son Declan continues to tease the next generation of the McMahon legacy in WWE.

Though Vince McMahon is no longer in sole control of WWE, the McMahon family name will always be associated with the company. Both Shane and Stephanie McMahon became involved in the industry throughout the course of their lives, even stepping inside the squared circle themselves.

Despite currently focusing on his football career as part of the Indiana Hoosiers, Shane McMahon’s son Declan McMahon has also expressed interest in getting into the world of wrestling, and he appeared at ringside during WWE Fastlane accompanied by some of his teammates. Speaking in a new interview with the Miami Herald, McMahon floated the idea of his fellow Hoosiers forming a new version of his father’s Mean Street Posse.

“My dad had the Mean Street Posse. But we were thinking, like, what if we have a Meaner Street Posse, right? What if we get some of those big guys? [his defensive line teammates]…We have got a ton of talent here. And we got a lot of characters and charisma on the team. So you know, it could be.”

“Maybe You Could Have A Bloodline Story With Us” – Shane McMahon’s Son On Possible WWE Appearance With His Brothers

When asked about the possibility of competing alongside his two brothers in trios action when the boys are a bit older, Declan said it’s not outside the realm of possibility, pointing to the athletic skills and physical presence of brothers Kenyon and Rogan.

“Definitely, you definitely could. I mean my brother, he’s got a knack for it. He’s super physical and such a great athlete. My brother Kenyon, you’ll see it in his high school football tape. He’s doing wrestling in the winter and he’s such a great athlete. My brother Rogan too, he’s younger right now but he’s a big ol’ boy. He’s going to be pretty big. So we’ll see… Maybe you can have a Bloodline storyline with us.”

McMahon also opened up about a past visit to the WWE Performance Center, calling the facility gorgeous.

“I went down there once and it’s gorgeous. Obviously being in Florida, which is one of the greatest places to live. Especially with state tax and everything. The weight room in there [the Performance Center] is amazing. They’ve got a ton of rings. It’s just great because obviously when you’re wrestling it’s not only about how you look it’s about how safe you can be and how you can protect who you’re in the ring with.”

In the past, Declan McMahon floated the idea of a triple threat match featuring himself and his two brothers. Declan also claimed that he’s the best choice to continue the McMahon family legacy in wrestling.
