Declan McMahon Wants Family Triple Threat Match In WWE

Declan McMahon, the son of WWE executive Shane McMahon, recently opened up about his aspirations in the wrestling industry.

During an interview with Developmentally Speaking McMahon expressed his desire to participate in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match alongside his brothers. Paying homage to his father’s daring stunts, he even mentioned his interest in performing spectacular jumps off various set pieces.

If I can only do one match I would want to do a match against my two brothers. Triple Threat Match, Hell in A Cell, you know, maybe jump off some cool sh*t.

In the interview, McMahon also discussed his future plans within the wrestling world. Despite his passion for the sport, he emphasised his current commitment to playing football and obtaining a degree. While wrestling holds a special place in his heart, McMahon recognises the importance of focusing on his education and athletic pursuits.

I think I would definitely consider giving wrestling a try but you know, I’m committed to football right now. I’m gonna get my college degree in a couple of years.

Although McMahon doesn’t see himself in a WWE ring in the near future, he did mention that down the line it could be a possibility.

So, I’m kind of just letting that pass. And then, and then we’ll see, got a lot more workouts and gonna take a couple more bumps before I can get in there. I think I would definitely give it a shot.

Shane McMahon last appeared in a WWE ring at WrestleMania 39 where he started an impromptu match against The Miz. However, early in the match Shane McMahon tore his quad and had to be replaced by none other than Snoop Dogg who won the match in McMahon’s place.
