The standings are still close in the AEW Continental Classic after a night of Blue League action on Collision.

Bryan Danielson suffered an orbital bone injury in October and the December 2nd edition of Collision marked his return to action as he took on Eddie Kingston in the Blue League. The American Dragon was able to win the bout with a running knee to claim his first three points.

This left Kingston languishing at the bottom of the league with two losses to his name, having been defeated by Brody King the previous week. With both his ROH and NJPW STRONG Titles on the line in the tournament, the Mad King has a mountain to climb to become the first Triple Crown Champion.

Elsewhere, Brody King moved to the top of the league by defeating Claudio Castagnoli, putting him on six points, while Andrade El Idolo claimed his first three points with a win over Daniel Garcia.

The Continental Classic will continue on the December 6th edition of Dynamite with Gold League action as Swerve Strickland takes on Mark Briscoe and Jon Moxley clashes with Rush.

Dynamite will also see Christian Cage defend the TNT Championship against Adam Copeland.

Blue League will resume on the December 9th episode of Collision with Eddie Kingston going one-on-one with Claudio Castagnoli for the first time since Kingston defeated Castagnoli for the ROH World Title, while Bryan Danielson will face Andrade El Idolo.
