Bryan Danielson Wants British Wrestler To Be A Part Of The Blackpool Combat Club

Bryan Danielson has revealed who he would want to add to The Blackpool Combat Club if given the opportunity.

The exclusive faction was formed back in 2022 shortly after Danielson and Jon Moxley were separated after their match at Revolution by William Regal, who made a surprise debut moments after the match ended. Focusing on a hard-hitting wrestling style to pay homage to Regal’s roots in wrestling, the group would later recruit Claudio Castagnoli as a substitute for Forbidden Door 2022 when Danielson was injured and recruited Wheeler Yuta after he proved himself in a bloody battle with Moxley. While the group is still going strong, who would Danielson like to add if given the opportunity?

Speaking with DAZN, The American Dragon would name 2 members of the AEW roster who he thinks would be good fits in the group, an underutilised British wrestler and a rising star:

“Anthony Ogogo. That’s a really interesting fit with his boxing background and he’s as tough as nails. Another interesting one is Hook. He’s got beef with Wheeler Yuta right now but sometimes those beefs lead to respect.”

In the same interview, Bryan Danielson would name his favourite matches during his short AEW run so far.

Is Bryan Danielson Injured?

Danielson has been predominantly competing on Collision each Saturday night as part of the Continental Classic round-robin tournament. The upcoming episode of Collision on December 9th has been pre-taped, with the tapings taking place on Tuesday, December 5th. During the taping, those in attendance expressed concerns over Danielson as The American Dragon was seen bleeding and needing to be checked upon after the match was over. A new update has provided clarification on the AEW status of Bryan Danielson.
