“They Need Jade Cargill Back” – Jim Cornette Blasts AEW’s Women’s Division

Jim Cornette did not hold back in his criticism of the AEW women’s division and the four-way women’s title match at AEW All In.

In a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette took aim at Saraya and Britt Baker, while also offering praise for Toni Storm. However, it was his call for the return of Jade Cargill that caught the attention of many.

Cornette began by expressing his disappointment with the overall state of the AEW women’s division, stating that it lacks the depth and star power seen in other promotions. He specifically criticised Saraya, questioning her in-ring abilities and labelled her the “least good woman in the match.”

On the other hand, Cornette had praise for Toni Storm, with his co-host Great Brian Last stating:

You could picture her with a different hair do in almost any period of time in women’s wrestling and she’s really good and she can do promos, the problem is that the division is filled with people who are not ready for prime time.

Perhaps the most intriguing comment made by Cornette was his call for the return of Jade Cargill to the women’s division. Cargill, who made her AEW debut in 2020, has been absent from television in recent months. Cornette said:

They need Jade Cargill back, if her rich husband ever goes broke and she needs the money they can bring her back.

What Happened To Jade Cargill In AEW?

Cargill has not been seen on AEW programming since she lost the AEW TBS Title to Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing back in May.

Jade Cargill has expressed no desire to return to the ring and even responded to fan’s questions about her return on X. When a fan asked “Are you coming back soon?” Cargill simply replied “No.”
