Goldberg Reveals Hilarious In-Ring Joke He Played On The Big Show

Goldberg pranked The Big Show [Paul Wight] with an impressive feat of strength.

The Hall of Famer was known for his devastating power throughout his career in both WCW and WWE, frequently flattening opponents in record time. If by some miracle they survived the spear, few would ever be lucky enough to kick out of the Jackhammer.

If larger wrestlers thought that they would be safe from the former World Champion, Goldberg would prove otherwise. This was seen when The World’s Largest Athlete was hit with the finisher on multiple occasions in WCW. While speaking with The Chicago Sports Podcast, the Hall of Famer named Paul Wight as the wrestler who got hit with the most epic Jackhammer. Goldberg also revealed how he found out that as Wight did not like being held in the air, the impact of the Jackhammer was delayed:

Oh, Big Show. 100% That’s easy. He was 525 show me somebody else who could walk around the ring with him aimlessly until they got tired of holding him up and then just drop him. And by the way, he hated being upside down, he’ll be the first one to tell. And so the joke was I’d hold him up as long as I could.

Goldberg Reveals The Origin Of His Finishers

The former World Champion was known for being more intense than most of the roster during his runs in both companies. Transitioning to wrestling from football, the Hall of Famer did not have a finishing move at the start of his in-ring career. In the same interview, Goldberg revealed that a WCW legend gave him inspiration for the Jackhammer.
