There’s a former WWE star fans haven’t see wrestle on television in quite some time and that could be for good reason.

Tyler Breeze hasn’t wrestled in a WWE ring in over two years and even though he was released in 2021, he still is getting a check from the company, according to a new report from Fightful.

Breeze’s current contractual duties are tied to Xavier Woods’ video gaming baby in UpUpDownDown, but there’s no word as to if his deal limits any kind of outside work Breeze can do in the ring. However, according to one WWE source for Fightful, it does prevent him from appearing on AEW programming.

Former WWE Star Tyler Breeze Ready For The Winds Of Change

Although Breeze hasn’t been beautiful under the WWE spotlight recently, he’s made sure to maintain that beauty outside of the squared circle. Sources from Fightful state that Tyler has been financially sound outside of wrestling as he’s made investments in real estate and is busy running a training school with AEW star Shawn Spears called Flatbacks.

If fans were hoping to see an in-ring return of the former WWE star, Breeze appears to be doing so on September 1 for Prestige Wrestling.

Breeze had a considerable lengthy run with WWE. He was arguably best utilized during his initial NXT tenure as he remained a primary player in the developmental brand’s main event picture and was the lone star to have a one-of-a-kind program with Jushin Thunder Liger at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn back in 2015.
