A former tag team champion is coming back to the ring after two years away.

Tyler Breeze last competed on the June 15th, 2021 edition of NXT. The match saw him and his Breezango tag partner Fandango get a victory over Imperium‘s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser.

His last singles match with the company came on the March 31st edition of the brand where he was defeated by Santos Escobar.

He had not been seen on the main roster since a Tag Team Battle Royale on the 2019 Survivor Series kick-off show which was won by Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode.

Breezango had become popular among fans for their comedic ‘Fashion Files’ skits which saw them take on Zoolander-esque roles of dimwitted detectives trying to solve “crimes” in WWE.

Both Breeze and Fandango were released from their contracts on June 25th, 2021, as part of huge cuts to the roster that saw 80 stars released over the course of that year.

Breeze was rehired by WWE in October 2022 as a trainer at the Performance Centre. He is also a co-host of Zavier Woods’ UpUpDownDown channel on YouTube.

Outside of the company, he and AEW’s Shawn Spears run their own wrestling school named ‘Flatbacks’.
