Tyler Breeze Set For First WWE Appearance Since 2021 Release

Tyler Breeze

It has been announced that Tyler Breeze will be returning to WWE for the first time in more than a year.

Tyler Breeze was released by WWE on June 25th 2021 bringing an end to his 11-year run with the company. The star had been performing in NXT prior to his departure, teaming with long-time partner Fandango. Despite his release the former NXT Tag Team Champion continued to be part of UpUpDownDown alongside Xavier Woods.

However, it has now been announced that Breeze will be a guest on The Bump on October 5th.

Tyler Breeze signed with WWE in late 2010, making his debut in developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling in December at a live event under his real name Matt Clement. The star eventually became FCW Champion before the promotion was rebranded as NXT.

Breeze went on to become one of NXT’s most popular stars wrestling the likes of Sami Zayn and famously Jushin Thunder Liger at TakeOver: Brooklyn.

In October 2015 Breeze arrived on SmackDown but failed to capture the same success that he had enjoyed on the Black and Gold brand. However, in 2016 the star began teaming with Fandango and Breezango was born. Although the pair were short on wins, they were high on entertainment and became an instant hit with fans.

The duo eventually returned to NXT in late 2018, where they stayed until both being release in June 2021.

Tyler Breeze is yet to return to the ring, with his last match coming alongside Fandango against Imperium on the June 15th 2021 episode of NXT.
