MJF Gives A Date To When AEW Contract Will Expire

MJF at AEW Revolution

MJF knows his value and he expects it to have six zeros at the end of it when his AEW contract expires.

Since his rise in AEW, the current World Champipn has continued to speak of the “great bidding war of 2024” between Tony Khan and ol’ “Uncle Nick” Khan. While on “Hot Ones” with his AEW All In opponent Adam Cole, Maxwell Jacob Friedman confirmed when “feeding time” begins for his bank account.

“January 1, 2024, they better back up the g*ddamn Brinks truck, okay pal? Realistically, I know that there’s a lot of money that’s going to be thrown my way from both sides, I’m not accepting anything under seven figures. I won’t even I won’t even make eye contact with a contract that’s under seven figures.”

MJF has put his mouth to where the money should be as he’s proven to be arguably wrestling’s best promo in the modern era. That is all the more affirmed this Sunday as he competes in front of a packed Wembley Stadium in the main event of All In.

Could MJF Go The Route Of Cody Rhodes Once His AEW Contract Ends?

With MJF marking the date of his contract ending, there is curiousity if he’d follow in the footsteps of his old friend Cody Rhodes, who WWE has had no issue with pushing into the top babyface spot of the company. Speculation could also be made that perhaps Tony Khan has already extended his deal with MJF past that January 1 date to make sure he does stay under the AEW banner.

Set to be known for his work in The Iron Claw in a matter of weeks, MJF has been tipped as a future action star, possibly becoming the next Arnold Schwarzenegger.
