Bianca Belair returned to close out last night’s episode of SmackDown, her first WWE appearance in over two months!

Belair hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the August 18th edition of SmackDown where she and Charlotte Flair defeated Bayley and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL. After the match, Damage CTRL injured Belair’s leg in kayfabe – allowing The EST to take some time away.

In the past 9 weeks, Bianca has only made a single WWE-related appearance. Alongside the likes of Vince McMahon, Triple H, Ari Emanuel, Dana White, and Nick Khan, she appeared at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the launch of TKO Group Holdings in early September.

After a two and a half month hiatus from programming, however, Belair has returned to WWE. After IYO SKY retained the Women’s Championship over Charlotte Flair thanks to some help from Bayley and Dakota Kai, Bianca saved Flair from a post-match beatdown.

It was reported earlier this week that Bianca Belair was set to return to the promotion imminently. WWE themselves dropped a big hint that the 34-year-old was on her way back as she was featured heavily in the poster for WWE Crown Jewel alongside John Cena, Logan Paul, and Roman Reigns.

Why Did Bianca Belair Take Two Months Away From WWE?

Back in September, Belair opened up on the reason behind her WWE hiatus in an interview with The Metro.

The 3-time Women’s Champion that her time away from WWE was ultimately to focus on “some self-care” and allowed her to work on some projects for the future, including a children’s book.
