Matt Riddle Not At WWE Raw Following Alleged JFK Incident

Matt Riddle is not going to be a focus for WWE this week and will reportedly not be in attendance for tapings.

According to a new report from PWInsider, Riddle is not at the tapings for WWE Raw tonight after making claims that he was sexually assaulted by an officer at the JFK Airport in New York City. PWInsider also adds that Riddle has been removed from the WWE live events schedule for this week as well as the promotion is set to have stops in Washington and Idaho.

Riddle’s initial claims of sexual assault were posted on Instagram, but The Original Bro deleted it. Despite that, port authorithy moved forward with a full investigation on the matter. Riddle did follow up with another Instagram post stating, “Finally leaving JFK and I never wanna come back here again.”

What Reportedly Happened With Matt Riddle At JFK Airport?

According to TMZ, Port Authority officers approached a disorderly person deplaning, who happened to be Matt Riddle. Riddle was stated to appear off as apologetic and therefore Port Authority was shocked at Riddle’s later accusations.

Riddle has been recently involved in an on-air alliance with Drew McIntyre, but the star appears to be off programming for this week. Riddle had expressed recent frustrations with creative in WWE as he said it was easier to win fights in UFC than it is to do so in WWE. At the beginning of August, Riddle had only won three singles matches since his return to the company in April.
