John Cena Undergoes Medical Procedure Following WWE Crown Jewel

John Cena has revealed that he required medical treatment following his most recent match at WWE Crown Jewel.

Cena lost to Solo Sikoa at the Saudi Arabia show in decisive fashion, with The Bloodline member hitting multiple Samoan Spikes to pin the 16-time World Champion in what appears to be Cena’s final match until further notice. With the current run now completed, the Hollywood star has undergone treatment to fix his arm.

Taking to social media to thank Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, Cena has had one arm fixed and will be undergoing therapy very soon. The former World Champion also revealed that he will be returning to Birmingham, Alabama soon as the other arm also needs to be fixed:

Thank you @JeffDugasMD and your entire team in Birmingham! One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy … one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!!

Cena has not given any more details as to the nature of the procedures or if this will affect the filming schedules of any future projects. Studios will be hoping that the nature of the injury is not the same as The Rock, who suffered a pelvis tendon injury during his WrestleMania 29 match against Cena. The injury and surgery that was required delayed the filming of the Hercules movie, costing the studio millions of dollars.

John Cena’s Project Cancelled

With the SAG-AFTRA strike reaching its conclusion, John Cena is now focused on TV and movie projects, as Cena has made it clear that he is unable to do both for insurance reasons. During the Fastlane Press Conference, Cena mentioned that he is working on a project but he can’t say any more than that at the moment.

One project starring Cena that will not be available to see is a part live-action, part animated movie based on the Wile E. Coyote cartoons, in which Cena played the CEO of Acme Corporation. In a surprising update on November 9th, Warner Bros. Studios announced that the film starring John Cena had been scrapped and will not be released either in the theatres or on any streaming services.
