Cash Wheeler has some support from an old friend in MJF.
After news broke that Wheeler was arrested on aggravated assault charges following a road rage incident in late July, a great deal of criticism was thrown at Wheeler’s way by users on social media. This prompted MJF,to give his own thoughts on the matter and defend his colleague amid the allegations. The AEW World Champion called out fans for their entitlement and willingness to assume.
“Kinda disappointed how many dorks there are on this app that jump to conclusions so quick. A ton of peoples privilege is showing. We’re all human. We’re all flawed. We all make mistakes. Take it from a guy who’s made more mistakes than most. I’ve had my ups and downs with FTR but Cash Wheeler is a great dude and a badass. You’re getting FTR vs. Young Bucks in front of 80k plus on August 27th. Talk about that ya dweebs.”

Cash Wheeler & MJF Go Back With The Pinnacle
Although The Pinnacle didn’t make as memorable of an impact that many would have expected from a faction with top stars, it did link the likes of MJF with FTR. The “downs” MJF may have been referring to when it comes to Wheeler could have been some creative differences in the Pinnacle that were mentioned by Dax Harwood on his old FTR podcast. However, MJF is also notorious for blurring the lines and could be leaving a little of his statement in-character. He and Adam Cole actually competed against FTR a few weeks back on AEW Collision and the four exchanged some sportsmanship following the match.
In a more recent social media post, MJF praised both major wrestling companies for their record-breaking achievements.
