FTR Vs The Young Bucks Set For AEW All In

The Young Bucks FTR - Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler in AEW

AEW All In continues to make history as FTR challenge long time rivals The Young Bucks to a match on the grandest stage of the all.

During the August 5th edition of AEW Collision, reigning AEW Tag Team Champions FTR would successfully defend their championship gold against The Embassy’s Brian Cage and former WWE Superstar Big Bill.

Following the match Dax Harwood would take to the microphone to address the legacy of FTR discussing what it means to be one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history.

Whilst recapping their incredible year, Harwood would note that there is one last thing FTR must do before they can be acknowledges as the greatest of all time… defeat The Young Bucks.

FTR would then challenge Nick and Matt Jackson to one more match on the biggest stage in AEW (and possibly wrestling) history, All In later this August at Wembley Stadium.

Harwood would state:

“Young Bucks…I said we had unfinished business, so how’s about we finish it at Wembley Stadium?”

“80,000 strong,” Harwood continued. “Young Bucks, FTR, number three, the rubber match. Who is the greatest tag team of all time? Top guys, out.” [h/t Haus of Wrestling]

When Did FTR Last Wrestle The Young Bucks in AEW?

FTR have taken on The Young Bucks twice previously in tag team action (excluding multi-team matches), the first match coming on the 7th of November 2020 at AEW’s Full Gear PPV with The Young Bucks coming out victorious.

The teams would then not meet again for nearly two years before FTR would get their revenged defeating The Young Bucks in April of 2022 on AEW Dynamite.

Fans will be keeping a keen eye on the tension between the tag teams after it was recently reported that “significant issues” still persist between CM Punk and The Elite.

The Young Bucks are yet to respond to the challenge.

Elsewhere on the show, Samoa Joe would challenge CM Punk to a rematch at AEW All In.
