Cash Wheeler

Cash Wheeler has been arrested in Orlando, Florida following one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

The AEW talent was arrested on the morning of Friday, August 18th by the Orlando Police Department and booked into Circuit Court according to county records. No further details have been provided at this time.

The Orlando Sentinel approached All Elite Wrestling to provide a statement on the matter, with AEW giving the following response:

“AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. (Wheeler) is fully cooperating with local authorities.”

Best friend and FTR partner Dax Harwood has also broken his silence on the matter, reposting a video from 2021 promoting FTR’s upcoming match Santana and Ortiz with the caption “2 years ago.”

Cash Wheeler Arrest Puts AEW All In Match In Doubt

Currently one-half of the Tag Team Champions, Wheeler was set to team with Harwood to defend the titles against The Young Bucks at the All In pay-per-view on Sunday, August 27th to determine once and for all who the best tag team in professional wrestling is. Now being charged with criminal activity, it is very likely that Wheeler will be denied entry into the UK and force the marquee match to be cancelled.

With one of the biggest matches on the card potentially scrapped, this further adds to the unexpected changes made to the Wembley Stadium show due to injuries forcing multiple talents off of the card.
