Tony Khan Names Wrestling Mount Rushmore

Tony Khan AEW

Tony Khan is a big fan of “real gentleman” Bret Hart.

Pretty much every professional wrestler alive has named a Mount Rushmore of wrestling, and now the AEW boss has got in on the action. Khan’s wrestling fandom is well known, with the AEW President speaking openly about his love of 1990s ECW, and wrestling history.

Appearing on the Superstar Crossover Podcast, Khan broke down his personal list.

“For me, it’s a great question, I would say Ricky Steamboat, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, and Bret Hart.

Khan went on to heap further praise on Hart, recalling his own experience of working with The Hitman.

“He’s a very classy person when you meet him in real life, and he’s one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. In person, he’s a real gentleman, too. So he lives up to his reputation as one of the greats, Bret Hart. Amazing, amazing person. It was great to have Bret Hart be the first person ever to pull the AEW World Championship out of the bag at the first-ever Double or Nothing.”

Tony Khan Reveals Insane Work Schedule

Speaking elsewhere, Tony Khan recently revealed that he works a minimum of 80 per week. Khan explained that he was working around 80 hours per week before the launch of Collision, but since June that number has grown considerably.

Outside of his work with AEW, Khan holds executive roles with NFL franchise the Jacksonville Jaguars and English Premier League team Fulham.
