Hulk Hogan Wants To See The Rock Return At WrestleMania 40

Rock vs Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan thinks The Rock would tear the house down if he were to return at WrestleMania 40.

Hulk Hogan is well-aware of the star power that The Rock brings on the WWE WrestleMania stage and spoke about that to Sports Illustrated.

It’s been over 20 years since Hulkamania squared off against The People’s Champion at WrestleMania 18 in Toronto. Hogan and The Rock made the Skydome rumble in what is one of the top WrestleMania moments in history and Hogan reflected how much professionalism he saw in “The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment.”

“When I walked out of the curtain at WrestleMania X8, some people were cheering me. We had to call an audible. The crowd wanted something different, so we called it on the fly. Rock was such a pro and so old school. He listened to the crowd, and it was like a slow dance. It was beautiful. That’s a night I’ll never forget, and I learned firsthand how special Rock was in the ring.”

Hulk Hogan Thinks Wrestling Fans Would Be In Store For Something Special If The Rock Were To Return

Fans this past Friday got a tease at what The Rock can still bring to pro wrestling with a surprise appearance on SmackDown and Hulk Hogan knows that Dwayne Johnson would bring eyes and bigger business to WWE if he were to return for a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

“Rock’s in great shape, better than I was, and he is so smart inside the ring. It would be great to see him come back. It would be bigger than him, too. It’s something that would be significant for everyone in wrestling.”

“Even though he hasn’t wrestled in a while, if he goes out there, Rock is going to tear that place down. Good luck to anyone trying to follow that match.”
