Booker T Conflicted About Bobby Lashley’s Alliance With The Street Profits

Booker T remains to be convinced by the new partnership between Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.

After a short hiatus, The All-Mighty returned to WWE television in July and was shown meeting with the Street Profits. This has led to an alliance between the trio, with Lashley taking the former Tag Team Champions under his wing on SmackDown.

However, not everyone is quite sold on the group just yet. Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said he was “conflicted” about the new faction, calling on the Street Profits to add more edge to their character.

“I’m still conflicted with, you know, Street Profits and Bobby together. I mean it’s a great combination, you know, they got a lot in common. Let’s just say that they’re all brothers. (laughs)

But, I don’t know, I’m not too fond of the group just because I’m looking for some Deion (Sanders.)

I’m like coach Prime, I’m looking for some dogs, man, and if you ain’t one of them dogs, you might want to start applying to another university.

I’ve been telling Street Profits they need to turn into some dogs. Ditch the cup, all right? What’s in the damn cup?

So that’s my thing, it’s time to start putting the Hurt Business on the map.

It’s time to bring the pain if you’re gonna bring the pain, and quit messing around, you know, and jiving and messing around.”

While Booker remains unsure about the Street Profits, coach and producer TJ Wilson recently praised the work put in by Angelo Dawkins. Wilson described Dawkins as a “leader” praising how hard he’s constantly working to improve.

Booker T Claims Matt Riddle Became A Liability

Also on his podcast, Booker T gave his thoughts on the latest round of WWE releases. During the conversation, Booker discussed Matt Riddle’s departure from the company, explaining he’d become a liability, after using up all the chances presented to him by the company.

Still aligned with The Street Profits, Bobby Lashley has stated that they have the most potential on the whole roster.
