“I Feel Like I Belong Here”: Logan Paul Looks Back On His Time In WWE So Far

Logan Paul believes that he made the right decision.

Chasing after his childhood dream, the YouTube star made multiple appearances with the promotion before committing and signing a WWE contract. Many were sceptical at first due to Paul’s reputation and there being history of celebrity matches more often than not being of poor in-ring quality.

However, as time has gone on and Paul has shown off his athletic abilities and held his own in singles matches with the likes of The Miz and Roman Reigns, initial reservations have subsided for some who first doubted the YouTube sensation. Logan Paul has further commited to his role in WWE, declaring that he is technically a full-time wrestler.

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Paul revealed that wrestling is a better fit for him than boxing and WWE feels like what he was born to do:

“I got the bug. I’m doing these things and this comes so much more natural to me than boxing. People tell me I belong here, I actually feel like I belong. I have the opportunity to go after these champions and win these belts, I don’t know how many humans get this opportunity, I might have to take this.”

Logan Paul Gears Up For Rey Mysterio

One year on from being another victim of The Tribal Chief, Paul will once again attempt to become champion as he challenges Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel. Also on the podcast, Paul addressed his opponent and revealed that he does have respect for the Hall of Famer but nothing will stop him from becoming champion:

“I’m going for you bro, you’re looking at the future US Champ right here. Unfortunately, I have to take it from Rey Mysterio, the legend, I have to punch him in the face a few times.

“It sucks. I love Rey Mysterio as a wrestler, and this is what I’ve been saying, I respect Rey, how can you not? He is one of the greatest, surely the greatest luchador of all time, he just has something I need.”
