Logan Paul Claims He’s “Technically A Full-Time Wrestler”

Logan Paul has opened up about juggling careers in WWE and boxing.

The YouTube sensation has never been afraid to mix it up and on October 14th, he’ll return to boxing to take on Dillon Danis. In recent years, Paul has tried to fit his numerous projects around life with WWE, where he’s currently signed to a multi-year contract.

However, he’s repeatedly stated he’s got no desire to slow down, and speaking in a new interview with Ariel Helwani, explained his decision to return to boxing.

“I don’t know what else to do, Ariel. I really don’t know what else to do. I have this frame that is attuned for combat. I like to work hard. I like to beat people up. I like when they try to beat me up back. It’s a good vehicle for the business that I’m building. It’s just a good platform and I love it,”

With regard to his scheduling balancing act, Paul said he’s “technically” a full-time wrestler, this is despite only wrestling seven matches since making his debut at WrestleMania 38.

“We gotta find a time in the schedule to carve out a time to box. I am technically a full-time wrestler. I’m on the roster, I have a contract, and it’s also a goal of mine to get WWE championships. I didn’t just come to partake. I came to take over. You don’t do that if you’re hopping in and out of the sport. So we gotta find time to box and find time to wrestle, and they’ve been very accommodating,”

Logan Paul will be back with WWE following his match with Danis.

When Did Logan Paul Last Wrestle?

Paul hasn’t wrestled since competing at SummerSlam in early August where he picked up the win over Ricochet. This followed an appearance in the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match, a spot at the Royal Rumble, and a defeat to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39.

The star has repeatedly earned praise for his wrestling skills, with Ric Flair claiming Logan Paul is better than 70% of WWE’s roster. More Hall of Famers have also given their opinion, with Eric Bischoff providing his assessment of Logan Paul’s WWE run.
