Mercedes Mone Recovered From Injury; Posts Update Ahead Of Wrestling Return [Video]

Mercedes Mone is back in the ring.

In a new video posted to Mone’s YouTube channel, the former IWGP Women’s Champion is seen walking into a gym, lacing up her boots and performing drills inside a ring at Hybrid School of Wrestling with Solo (Reprise) by Frank Ocean played over the montage.

Mone was out of action since May after suffering a broken ankle. Now back in the ring and with no signs of ring rust in the training video, Mone looks to have fully recovered from the injury that kept her on the shelf for more than 6 months. While many fans are now anticipating the long-awaited return of Mone, it is still unknown when or where that could be.

Could Mercedes Mone Return To WWE?

The return of CM Punk at Survivor Series proved that anything can happen in the WWE. With nearly every disgruntled employee eventually finding their way to the company that they left, many fans have wondered if the former Sasha Banks could be the next Superstar to make a shock return. The rumours only grew stronger when Bayley posted an image of her and Mone together on her Instagram story, hinting that it may be Boss Time sooner rather than later.

Mone was wrestling for New Japan in a match against Willow Nightingale when the injury took place. Along with the WWE return, some have suspected that The CEO could return to the Japanese promotion or even become All Elite. When asked about the status of Mercedes Mone, NJPW Ambassador Rocky Romero discussed her future in the promotion.
