Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback revealed his true feelings about working with CM Punk.
Known for his outspoken nature, In an interview with The Buzzards Wrestling Podcast, Ryback did not hold back as he expressed his dislike for Punk, stating that he was one of his least favourite people to work with during his time in the wrestling industry.
While Ryback emphasised that he doesn’t believe in holding grudges or hating people, he did not shy away from criticising Punk’s behaviour.
I don’t agree with everything he did when we worked together, and he did me no favours at all,
Ryback admitted.
He’s very difficult and doesn’t like to communicate and things of that nature.
However, Ryback also acknowledged the underlying bitterness and negativity that Punk harboured towards the company at the time. Understanding the impact such sentiments can have on one’s professional relationships, Ryback has since chosen not to take it personally.
He was very bitter and negative towards his feelings about WWE at the time, so I understand it and I don’t take it so personally now.
