Jon Moxley Reacts To CM Punk’s WWE Promo: “You Don’t Want To Know What I Think”

Jon Moxley Reacts To CM Punk's WWE Promo:

Jon Moxley does not want to talk at length about CM Punk.

With Survivor Series 2023 closing out with Punk’s shock return to WWE, many took an interest in the November 27th broadcast of Raw to see what was on the mind of the former AEW star. Naturally, everyone who has been interviewed in the past few days is asked about the big news that Punk is back in the company he left in 2014. Moxley is among those asked and opted to keep his answer brief.

Speaking with Comic Book, when asked about CM Punk Mox jokingly stated that it would be best if he didn’t issue any further comments:

“You don’t want to know what I think. I didn’t see it. You do not want to know what I think (laughs).”

Moxley and Punk feuded over the World Championship throughout the summer of 2022. CM Punk won the AEW World Championship at Full Gear but was injured days later. With Tony Khan not choosing to relinquish the title, Punk remained sidelined while an interim champion was crowned, which would be Moxley. Punk returned to have the unification match with Mox but was squashed by The Blackpool Combat Club member in a matter of minutes. A rematch was scheduled for All Out, where Punk won the title but was stripped of the championship following the events that took place at the press conference.

With CM Punk and Randy Orton both back on WWE Raw, it proved to be a successful night in the ratings.

Jon Moxley: In Case Of AEW Emergency Break Glass

Arguably the ironman of All Elite Wrestling, Moxley has been frequently placed in situations at the last minute when plans have changed due to injuries or other unforeseen circumstances. In the same interview, Moxley commented on how much he enjoys the pressure of these situations and putting on great matches with little notice:

“I feel like I thrive in those situations. Scramble to the f–king jets and get Moxley in the air. Oh f–k, we don’t have a main event. You’ve got to make people care about this and make this a main event in a week. I just pull main events out of my a– when I’m in those situations. I feel more comfortable when I’m the guy with the ball in the fourth quarter. It’s hard to not want to grab the ball and take the shot myself,”
