It was the AEW Dynamite featuring MJF with three partners against Jay White’s Bullet Club Gold, plus Orange Cassidy facing Claudio Castagnoli and more.

This episode took place at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The announcers were Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz.

Match #1: Orange Cassidy defeated Claudio Castagnoli to retain the AEW World Title. Orange won by countering a move into a hurricanrana for the pinfall win.

After the match, Jon Moxley went into the ring and fought with Cassidy. Moxley won that fight, which led to some head biting as well. Claudio pulled Moxley off.

When Jon Moxley got backstage, he challenged Cassidy to an International Title match at AEW Full Gear on November 18th.

Throughout the show, AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) was looking for three tag team partners in the main event.

Match #2: The Gates of Agony – Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, & “The Machine” Brian Cage defeated “Hangman” Adam Page & The Young Bucks – Nick & Matt Jackson to win the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles. Swerve Strickland showed up during the match, so Hangman went running after him and it left just two Yonug Bucks against three opponents. The challengers triple-teamed Nick and Kaun pinned Nick for the win to become the new champions.

Adam Copeland was featured in an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone. Copeland talked about his friendship and respect for Sting as well as his respect for Darby Allin. The promo was interrupted by TNT Champion Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne. Cage threatened to retire Sting while bragging about how he hurt Allin and Cage threatened to snap Adam’s neck. Christian’s team triple-teamed Copeland looking for a Conchairto, but Sting and Darby Allin made the save. Copeland hit his best friend Christian with a Spear. Copeland: “You want to snap my neck?! I’m going to beat your ass! It is on! Sting, you were right. Sting and Darby, you want a partner at Full Gear? I’m your man!” The six-man tag is on for AEW Full Gear.

Match #3: Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho defeated Matt Menard & Angelo Parker by pinfall. Jericho hit the Judas Effect elbow on Parker to win.

After the match, Don Callis and his “Family” including Powerhouse Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher appeared on the ramp. Callis challenged Omega & Jericho to a 4-on-4 Street Fight on Dynamite in two weeks. Omega said they’ll have Kota Ibushi with them in the match. Callis said they were still a man short because Sammy Guevara is on the Callis team. Chris Jericho named their partner saying that Hobbs is powerful, but Jericho has a friend that’s bigger than Hobbs and he’s a giant. Well, it’s a big Paul…Wight that is. Paul Wight appeared on the stage and decked Fletcher with one punch.

There was a backstage scene with Matt Jackson getting mad at Kenny Omega for bringing Chris Jericho into their locker room. Omega said he is on their side against the Don Callis Family. Matt Jackson warned Omega that Jericho will screw him over like Callis did.

Match #4: Hikaru Shida defeated Willow Nightingale to retain the AEW Women’s Title. Shida won clean with a Katana knee for the pinfall win.

After the match, “Timeless” Toni Storm appeared, so Shida went after her since they were Full Gear opponents. They went fighting to the back.

The lights went out and when they came on, Julia Hart of House of Black was in the ring with Willow. Sky Blue went down to the ring where she spit blue mist in Hart’s eyes rather than aligning with Hart.

MJF was unable to find partners, so The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn once again said they would do it. MJF was told he had to wrestle in gear they gave him.

Match #5: Bullet Club Gold – Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn defeated MJF, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn by pinfall. MJF wore pink/black attire and had a “Scissor Me” shirt on. Jay White, who stole the AEW World Title from MJF, kept on avoiding MJF throughout the match. BCG took out MJF’s partners, so Friedman fought alone and did a good job including a Kangaroo Kick. However, White was behind MJF and White hit a Bladerunner to pin MJF.

After the match, White tried to attack MJF with the World Title but Caster pushed MJF out of the way and Caster got hit with the title. After Bullet Club Gold left, MJF did the “Scissor” gesture with The Acclaimed & Billy to a big pop. End show.
