The Von Erich Family Announced To Appear At AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming

The Von Erich family are set to appear on the December 13th episode of AEW Dynamite.

As announced on the December 6th broadcast of AEW Dynamite, Kevin, Ross and Marshall Von Erich will be in attendance for the Winter is Coming special episode of Dynamite, which will air live in Arlington, Texas. The appearance will be just over a week before the biopic on the family is set for worldwide release.

Kevin Von Erich is the last surviving member of the legendary family of wrestling brothers, as Kerry, David, and Mike all sadly passed away by 1993. The story of triumph and tragedy has been adapted into the biopic The Iron Claw, which will be released on December 22nd.

Marshall and Ross Von Erich are the sons of Kevin and have been wrestling since 2012. Along with appearances in promotions such as NOAH, TNA and MLW, where they won the MLW Tag Team Championships. The brothers competed at the Ric Flair’s Last Match pay-per-view in 2022, losing to The Briscoes. Ross and Marshall have not been announced for a match at Winter is Coming at the time of writing. As fans are also aware, World Champion MJF stars in the movie as Lance Von Erich, who was not related to the wrestling family.

Von Erich Biopic Set For Streaming Release On Max

Following the theatrical release of The Iron Claw, the biopic already has a confirmed platform for streaming, making it available in millions of households. Warner Bros. Discovery recently signed an agreement with A24, the production company behind the biopic, to have their library of films exclusively available on the MAX streaming platform. As reported in Variety, Royce Battleman, EVP of content acquisitions for Warner Bros. Discovery, said the following on the new partnership:

“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan favourites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition. The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”
