This week’s Raw took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett on commentary.

The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest & Finn Balor did a promo bragging about winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles last week. Cody Rhodes interrupted and wanted revenge on Priest for the low blow/table attack last week. Priest suggested a singles match at Crown Jewel and Cody accepted. There was a fight after that with JD McDonagh doing a cheap attack on Cody. Priest & JD sent Cody into the steel steps. Priest hit Kofi’s left ankle with a chair, so Cody was selling a left foot injury.

It’s official for WWE Crown Jewel on November 4th: Damian Priest vs. Cody Rhodes.

Match #1: The New Day – Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods defeated Alpha Academy – Chad Gable & Otis (w/Maxxine Dupri & Akira Tozawa). The New Day won after Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise on Otis and Woods hit a top rope elbow drop on Otis for the pinfall win. Tozawa was with AA, but he didn’t do anything.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley had a backstage chat. Ripley suggested that Seth works with The Judgment Day while mentioning that Roman Reigns has been champion for 1,000 days and if Seth wants to do that then he’s going to need help because Seth has a bad back. Rollins said if there’s one thing he doesn’t want it’s to be anything like Roman Reigns. Ripley: “That wasn’t a no. Think about it.” Ripley left.

Match #2:Becky Lynch defeated Indi Hartwell to retain the NXT Women’s Title. Lynch won with the Disarm-her submission and Indi tapped out.

Post match, Lynch shook hands with Hartwell. Lynch also had a staredown with Lyra Valkyria, who was in the crowd. The Lynch/Lyra match is on NXT this Tuesday.

They showed Candice LeRae backstage watching the TV. Xia Li went up to her and punched Candice in the jaw.

The Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was greeted by Smackdown GM Nick Aldis in Pearce’s office. Nick said he takes full responsibility for having Pearce escorted from Smackdown last week. Aldis said he was just trying to assert his authority as the new GM of Smackdown. Pearce said he knows what it’s like to be the new guy and Pearce said it was water under the bridge. They shook hands.

A contract signing took place for the Women’s World Title match at Crown Jewel. The challengers Raquel Rodriguez, Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax signed the contract. The champion Rhea Ripley complained about having to defend the title against four opponents. It turned into a brawl between the four challengers with Jax hitting a Samoan Drop on Raquel. Jax and Ripley had a staredown to end it.

Match #3: Johnny Gargano defeated Giovanni Vinci (w/Ludwig Kaiser). When Kaiser went on the apron, Tommaso Ciampa attacked him and Kaiser left through the crowd. Gargano hit the One Final Beat DDT on Vinci for the pinfall win. After the match, Ciampa and Gargano hugged as Cole referenced their #DIY tag team name.

Logan Paul did an in-ring promo talking about how he would beat Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel to become the US Champion. Dominik Mysterio walked out as the NXT North American Champion saying he can’t wait for Logan to beat Dom’s deadbeat dad. Logan said that Dominik grew up with a deadbeat dad and still became a champion of an entire continent. Logan and Dominik were bonding. Logan wanted ring announcer Samantha Irvin to announce him as the new US Champion. Samantha was reluctant, so Ricochet saved her since they are engaged. Ricochet cleared the ring of Logan and wanted an SSP on Dom, but Logan saved his new buddy.

Match #4: Chelsea Green & Piper Niven defeated Natalya & Nikki Cross. Cross didn’t tag in and walked out of the match while looking like she was in a trance. Niven pinned Natalya after a running cross body block.

Match #5:Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn. Drew won after Rhea Ripley went to ringside and went on the apron, which distracted Zayn. Drew capitalized with a Claymore Kick for the pinfall win.

Nick Aldis was backstage talking to Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro until Adam Pearce showed up. Aldis left.

Match #6: Bronson Reed defeated Akira Tozawa (w/Maxxine Dupri). A short match that went just over two minutes with Reed winning with the Tsunami splash for the pinfall win.

In a backstage scene, Seth Rollins congratulated Drew McIntyre on the win as part of The Judgment Day. Drew said that based on Seth’s conversation with Ripley earlier, it sounded like Seth was in the group. They agreed that the best man would win at Crown Jewel.

Match #7: Damian Priest defeated Jey Uso. Finn Balor showed up to pull Jey’s leg so that Jey was crotched on the middle rope while the referee wasn’t looking. Priest hit the South of Heaven slam to win.

Post match, Balor & Priest beat up Jey. Cody Rhodes made the save while limping to sell the left foot injury. Cody cleaned house. Cody wanted to smash Priest’s leg with a chair, but Balor pulled Priest to safety. Cody and Jey stood tall in the ring. End show.
