Jey Uso Breaks Silence After Turning His Back On Roman Reigns

Jey Uso addresses the crowd on SmackDown.

On the June 16th episode of SmackDown, Jey Uso delivered the Superkick heard around the world. Something even more impactful as the sound of his brother’s own Superkick on Roman Reigns had only just started to dim.

With Jimmy Uso now determined to make his own way outside of The Bloodline, Jey had a decision to make. Did he follow his brother or do as Reigns’ asked and fall in line?

In the main event segment of the show it was Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikoa who were out first, but they didn’t have to wait long for Jey to arrive.

Reigns asked Jey what his decision was, but the tag team star laid down an ultimatum instead. It was either him or Paul Heyman.

The Tribal Chief was suitably unimpressed by the move and explained that Heyman served him, not The Bloodline. He added that it was his job to take the group to the top of the mountain, but it was Jey’s job to keep them there. Reigns said that they had been training Jey for three years, and the problem was his brother.

At this Jimmy came to the ring and said the problem was actually Reigns and that he was using Jey. Reigns fired back that Jimmy drags Jey down, and that Jey can’t be a twin and a Tribal Chief at the same time. He twisted the knife further by saying that Jimmy had a problem with Jey becoming Reigns’ right-hand man.

From here it looked as though Jey would side with Reigns as he admonished his brother, but then came the twist. Jey said that if Jimmy was out of The Bloodline, he would be to, delivering a huge Superkick to a stunned Reigns.

Jey Uso Reunited With Jimmy

With Reigns down, Solo Sikoa tried to intervene, but was met with a double Superkick from The Usos. As an irate Reigns climbed to his feet he screamed at the brothers who delivered another Superkick to leave him laying as the show went off the air.

When the cameras stopped rolling fans chanted “You deserve it” at Reigns while he gathered himself and headed back up the ramp with Sikoa.

After the show, Jey shared footage of him embracing his brother on his Instagram Stories and wrote “On Me 🩸”
