Shawn Michaels And The Undertaker Reunite In NXT

In a heartwarming reunion, two longtime friends and WWE Hall of Famers, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, came together backstage at WWE NXT.

The highly anticipated October 10th episode of NXT showcased a star-studded lineup, including the likes of John Cena and Cody Rhodes, making it one of the most memorable episodes in recent history.

The reunion between The Undertaker and Michaels was captured by WWE, as they shared a clip of the backstage encounter on October 11th. In the clip, posted on WWE’s X account, The Undertaker jokingly asked Michaels what it took to get a job around there, to which Michaels expressed his gratitude for The Undertaker’s appearance on the show. The two friends shared a warm embrace.

Despite not needing his wrestling gear, The Undertaker made his presence felt in the ring during the episode. He delivered a chokeslam to Bron Breakker and he then celebrated with Carmelo Hayes, seemingly endorsing the former NXT Champion.

Since his NXT appearance, The Undertaker has announced the launch of an “exclusive content” Patreon page which will seemingly host his own podcast.

What TV Ratings Did The October 10th NXT Get?

The October 10th NXT garnered an impressive 921,000 viewers and in the key 18-49 demographic it drew a 0.30 rating. John Cena’s appearance on the star-studded episode added to the excitement and helped NXT secure a victory over its rival, AEW Dynamite which drew 609,000 viewers and a 0.26 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Dynamite moved from its usual Wednesday night to Tuesday due to the MLB playoffs taking place in their usual timeslot on Wednesday night on TBS.
