Steve Austin Shares Physique Update Amidst WWE Return Rumours [VIDEO]

Kevin Owens and Steve Austin face to face

Contesting his first match in almost two decades on night one of WrestleMania 38, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin ultimately bested Kevin Owens in their encounter on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’. Resembling more of a brawl than an official wrestling bout, Austin performed wonderfully throughout, straying away from solely executing his greatest hits.

In a new video posted to his YouTube, ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ appears to be shredded. For someone of his age, Steve Austin is in incredible physical shape, which has sparked rumours that his ‘Mania 38 comeback wasn’t a one-off.

WrestleVotes had previously reported that the WWE Hall of Famer would listen to “any proposal” that came his way regarding WrestleMania 39. As it stands, there is no official confirmation that Steve Austin will 100% be returning to the squared circle.

Steve Austin’s WrestleMania Comeback Inspired Saraya

Over the years, a handful of previously retired wrestling stars have returned to the ring after being medically cleared to do so, including Edge and Bryan Danielson. Saraya was the latest to join the list, announcing that she was cleared to compete again during the November 9 AEW Dynamite.

During an appearance on Renee Paquette’s podcast The Sessions, the two-time WWE Divas Champion noted that seeing ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin back in the ring inspired her to get cleared:

“Stone Cold had that match with Kevin Owens but he didn’t bump that much. It was very limited but he still had an amazing match and that was inspiring to me. I probably could pull off doing a Stone Cold match, right? And it was just in my head…There wasn’t a crazy amount of bumps because the story that they told was so fantastic. Maybe we can do something like that.”

Saraya’s first match since December 2017 will see ‘The Anti-Diva’ collide with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 19.
