Charlotte Flair “Had A Lot To Prove” At WrestleMania

Charlotte Flair Rhea RIpley WWE WrestleMania 39

Charlotte Flair has revealed which WrestleMania matches have been her favourites.

Debuting at WrestleMania 32, The Queen has since gone on to compete at the Show of Shows 7 more times, including the coveted main event spot in 2019.

With multiple Mania moments already in Flair’s career and seemingly many more to come, which matches mean the most to the 14-time champion?

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Flair stated that while no singular match stands out above the rest, 2 opponents have:

“It’s hard to pick a favourite because they’re all so different and each opponent brings something different out of me. I’m extremely proud of the story with Rhea [Ripley] coming full circle, WrestleMania 32 put me on the map, and I thought the match with Asuka at WrestleMania 34 cemented our legacy. We left people in awe. I don’t think people thought it would be that good. We surpassed people’s expectations.”

While discussing the match at Mania 39 against Rhea Ripley, Flair also revealed that the placement of the match as second to last meant that the pressure was on to perform:

“I had a lot to prove. That’s how I felt going in, and I think people saw that as I walked out. I was very happy for Rhea and happy with what we did. Now we’ve both beat each other at WrestleMania.”

Will Charlotte Flair Break The Championship Record?

Now only 3 championship reigns away from holding the most World Titles in WWE history, many wonder if The Queen will break her dad’s record and become the most decorated wrestler ever. In the same interview, Flair believes that she will break the record. In regards to the man whose record looks to be broken imminently, Ric Flair has no issue with his daughter hitting the monumental milestone.
