This week on WWE SmackDown featured LA Knight facing Jimmy Uso in singles action, Bobby Lashley against Rey Mysterio and more.

SmackDown took place at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis with Michael Cole, Corey Graves & Kevin Patrick on commentary as usual for SmackDown.

LA Knight was about to do a promo to start the show when Paul Heyman interrupted with Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa. Heyman credited LA Knight for his rise to the top of WWE and admitted that Knight would be the next megastar in WWE. Heyman said that The Bloodline had to take care of Knight. Jimmy told Knight he wouldn’t even make it to Fastlane. That’s when John Cena ran out to join Knight in the ring, so The Bloodline backed away.

LA Knight challenged Jimmy Uso for a match later in the show. Jimmy said “okay” while Heyman questioned it: “What do you mean okay?” Heyman wasn’t happy about it.

Match #1:Charlotte Flair & Asuka defeated IYO SKY & Bayley (w/Dakota Kai). Flair pinned Bayley with the Natural Selection.

The Judgment Day was in the locker room of The Bloodline. After a break, the room was cleared and Rhea Ripley was left to talk to Paul Heyman.

Roman Reigns is back next week on the “Season Premiere” of Friday Night Smackdown.

During a commercial about NXT on Tuesday, The Undertaker’s gong sounded to suggest he’ll be there too.

Match #2: Bobby Lashley defeated Rey Mysterio. Lashley threw Santos Escobar into the barricade. The Street Profits beat up Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro on the floor. Rey jumped onto Angelo Dawkins on the floor. Back in the ring, Lashley capitalized with a Spear for the pinfall win.

After the match, Wilde & Del Toro were down selling as if they were injured as a storyline to take them out.

Rhea Ripley and Paul Heyman had a locker room chat. Ripley suggested The Judgment Day and The Bloodline work together. Heyman liked it, but had to call The Tribal Chief. Ripley said that she was The Tribal Chief and she was acknowledging it. Ripley threatened Heyman that The Judgment Day could take out The Bloodline. Ripley allowed Heyman to make his phone call and she left.

Match #3: Dragon Lee defeated Austin Theory. Grayson Waller was ringside and tried to help Theory win by doing a cheap attack that the referee never saw. Cameron Grimes showed up and shoved Waller into the ring post. Theory was looking at that, so Dragon did a sunset flip into a pin on Theory.

Rey Mysterio was shown walking out of the Trainer’s Room where he told Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega that Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde were hurt, so they couldn’t compete at Fastlane. Rey said he would make a phone call to get a partner.

A video package aired about the Seth Rollins-Shinsuke Nakamura match for the World Heavyweight Title at Fastlane. It’s a Last Man Standing Match. After the video aired, Damian Priest was shown looking at the screen and the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Match #4: LA Knight’s match with Jimmy Uso ended in a disqualification when Solo Sikoa attacked Knight. Knight got the DQ win.

After the match, The Bloodline was beating up Knight, so John Cena ran out for the save.

The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley and their friend JD McDonagh went to ringside. Ripley stared at Heyman on the floor and Heyman said: “Authorized!” Heyman shook hands with Ripley.

Jey Uso made his way down to ringside to help Cena & Knight. Cody Rhodes also ran down to the ring to stand with the other three guys in the ring. There was a brief fight that was easily won by the four babyfaces while the heels retreated.

Knight hit the BFT on McDonagh. Jey with a superkick on JD and Cena hit the spinning slam along with a Five Knuckle Shuffle fist drop. Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on JD. Cody was next as he hit the Cross Rhodes on JD. Cody’s music played to end it. The announcers plugged Fastlane on Saturday. That was the end of the show.
