The Undertaker Heading To NXT

Is The Undertaker about to make a return to WWE television?

To say that WWE is stacking the October 10th episode of NXT would be a stunning understatement. Due to the MLB Playoffs, AEW Dynamite will be moving forward 24 hours from its regular timeslot, and that will put it head-to-head with NXT.

While AEW is running “Title Tuesday,” WWE is pulling out the big guns and sending as many big names as possible to NXT. As well as Becky Lynch holding the NXT Women’s Title, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and Paul Heyman will all be on the show.

Incredibly, the show could also feature The Undertaker.

It’s been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that The Deadman is due to be in Orlando, Florida next week, including on Tuesday. However, there’s no word on whether or not he’ll appear on-screen.

WWE has since hinted that The Undertaker could be involved.

In recent news, Carmelo Hayes has offered protection to John Cena as he enters the NXT arena.

The Undertaker Offered Job As WWE Coach

Speaking back in March, The Undertaker revealed he’d been offered a job as a coach in NXT. The WWE Hall of Famer admitted he was still struggling to come to terms with his own retirement from the ring.

“I’ve been, I’ve been approached about doing it. My deal is, is trying to take what I did in my era and applying it to where the product is now. It’s tough. It’s tough for me. I’m still coming to grips with not being in the ring, too. It’s tough for me.”

The Undertaker hasn’t appeared on WWE television since the 30th-anniversary special edition of Monday Night Raw back in January 2023.
