WWE Reportedly Aiming For 45,000 Fans Per Night At WrestleMania 37

WWE are reportedly aiming to have 45,000 fans in attendance per night at WrestleMania 37.

This year’s WrestleMania had originally been scheduled to to place in L.A California, before the decision was made to switch the event to Tampa, Florida.

It had previously been suggested that WWE were aiming to have 30,000 fans in the venue, per night for the extravaganza.

However, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the company are now hoping to have have an extra 15,000 people at the show of shows on each night.

“A few months ago the hope was to put 30,000 in the stadium but based on a meeting this past week it looks like the goal now is 45,000 each night.”

WrestleMania 37 is set to be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The same stadium hosted Superbowl 55 on February 2nd 2021 with 25,000 fans in attendance. A further 30,000 seats were filled by cardboard cut outs.

WrestleMania weekend is now fully begging to take shape, with the announcement that the 2021 Hall of Fame Ceremony is set to take place on Tuesday 6th April. Meanwhile, Molly Holly has been announced as the first inductee in the 2021 class.

It was then revealed on the March 10th episode of NXT by General Manager William Regal that NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver will also be a two-night event, encompassing April 7th and April 8th.

Tickets for WrestleMania go on sale on Tuesday March 17th.

At the time of writing only two matches have been announced for the event.

Edge will attempt to win the WWE Universal Title taking on the winner of Roman Reigns against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane. While Bianca Belair will challenge Sasha Banks for her WWE SmackDown Women’s Title.
