Edge Vs Roman Reigns Confirmed For WrestleMania 37

Edge

After beating a broken Daniel Bryan in quick time, Roman Reigns was speared by Edge who proceeded to point towards the WrestleMania sign.

WWE & it’s WrestleMania handle on Twitter have all but confirmed the match as official for Roman’s Universal Title, stating that Edge wants the Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania – not something Edge actually said, but heavily implied with his attack on Reigns.

The R-Rated Superstar had previously been toying with the idea of challenging all current champions in WWE, including Drew McIntyre of the WWE Championship and Finn Balor of NXT.

It looks pretty clear now that the road to WrestleMania for both Roman Reigns and Edge is now paved, with Edge finally answering the question as to who he wants to challenge following his win in the 2021 Royal Rumble match.

We now have seven episodes of WWE SmackDown before we arrive at WrestleMania – including WWE Fastlane PPV in 4 weeks time. A lot can happen in 7 weeks, so we await to see how Edge and Roman Reigns can build this storyline heading into the Showcase of the Immortals – WrestleMania 37 in Tampa on April 10-11.

You can catch all the build up to WrestleMania including all breaking news over at Inside The Ropes.
