Seth Rollins didn’t appear in person on the May 15th episode of Monday Night Raw, and it seems that the reason why has now been revealed.

The Visionary has been pictured on the set of the new Captain America movie New World Order.

The film features an all-star cast including Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Harrison Ford, Liv Tyler, and is due to be released on May 3rd, 2024. The movie was written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, with Julius Onah serving as director.

While there is no word on Rollins’ exact role, it appears that he will form part of the villainous Serpent Society.

Rollins is far from the first WWE star to dip their toes into the superhero world with Dave Bautista enjoying tremendous success as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, while The Rock starred in the title role of Black Adam and John Cena earned praise for Peacemaker.

While Seth Rollins didn’t feature on Raw in person, his presence was felt on the show. The former Universal Champion took part in a sit-down interview with Corey Graves discussing his bid to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions.

After defeating Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura in a Triple Threat Match and Finn Balor in singles action, Rollins earned a spot in the tournament finals, where he’ll meet AJ Styles.
