When Is Jamie Hayter Returning To AEW?

Jamie Hayter is not expected to return to AEW television anytime soon.

The former AEW Women’s Champion has been out of action since being defeated by Toni Storm at Double or Nothing back in May. The match came after it was reported that Hayter was banged up heading into the event, having been pulled from a match on Dynamite in the weeks prior.

At Double or Nothing the match was over before it had even begun with The Outcasts jumping Hayter before the bell. This created a storyline reason for a short match and Storm claimed the Women’s Title in three minutes.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Hayter isn’t expected back before February, although this in itself is only a “rough estimate.”

“The current estimated return time for Jamie Hayter is February, due to various injuries, although that’s at best a rough estimate.”

What Did AEW Have Planned For Jamie Hayter?

While there’s been no word on the exact nature of the British star’s injury, she will miss All In, All Out, Grand Slam, and Full Gear at the very least. It had been previously reported that there were “tentative” plans for Jamie Hayter to appear at All In, but those fans have obviously fallen through. Given that the event is taking place at Wembley Stadium in London, Hayter had been expected to be heavily featured.
