AEW All In crowd shot at Wembley Stadium

AEW All In looks to be a huge success for the company.

On August 27th, All Elite Wrestling headed to the United Kingdom for the first time and put on one of the biggest events in wrestling history. More than 81,000 fans crammed into Wembley Stadium, in what was announced as the largest paid attendance in pro wrestling history.

The event is also on course to be a pay-per-view success with Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noting that estimates sit between 168,000 to 184,000 buys. This would be an increase of between 20 and 30 percent on recent events, and the biggest number since Double or Nothing 2022.

“The show looks to be a major success on PPV. It is already the most purchased AEW show for the year and the biggest since Double or Nothing 2022 (Adam Page vs. C.M. Punk main event). Depending on late buys, it is likely to end up between second and fourth when it comes to AEW’s biggest PPV shows.

What Happened At AEW All In?

AEW All In was a huge night in the careers of MJF and Adam Cole, as the pair won the ROH World Tag Team Titles before battling over the AEW World Championship in the main event.

Meanwhile, Saraya scored a popular home win, as she claimed the Women’s Title, and Will Ospreay was cheered to the rafters as he overcame Chris Jericho.

There was also something of a surprise as FTR retained the World Tag Team Titles with a victory over the Young Bucks. Heading into the match, many had expected the Bucks to win back the gold.
