Britt Baker Discusses Potential Match With Charlotte Flair – “She’s One Of The Best Ever”

Britt Baker has admitted that she’d love to face Charlotte Flair.

Baker became the first woman to be signed by AEW back in 2019 and after a patchy start established herself as the biggest female star in the promotion, feuding with the likes of Thunder Rosa, and more recently Saraya and Toni Storm.

Over in WWE, Charlotte Flair has long been established as one of the premiere female wrestlers in the world and currently stands as the most decorated female star in company history. So naturally, fans have wondered what a match between the two women would look like.

Speaking to Mark Andrews on My Love Letter To Wrestling, the AEW star opened up about two huge matches that could be waiting for her through wrestling’s forbidden door. Baker said she would “kill” to have a match with best friend and IMPACT Wrestling star Deonna Purrazzo, before discussing her admiration for Flair.

“One of my best friends in the whole world is Deonna Purrazzo. Crossing a forbidden door that is definitely someone I would kill to have a match with.

Then let’s go to the other forbidden door, the other way. I always say I would love to have a match with Charlotte Flair. I think she’s one of the best that’s ever done it, and people, no matter what you say about her, she’s always proving people wrong. I think she is very admirable. Her attitude, her poise, it’s everything about her I looked up to.”

Charlotte Flair Set For Major Match At WWE SummerSlam

While Britt Baker recently tasted defeat in the quarter-finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Charlotte Flair is reportedly in line for another shot at Women’s Title glory. Since making a surprise return to the company in June, Flair has been locked in a feud with Women’s Champion Asuka and former champion Bianca Belair.

According to a recent report, the three women will meet with the gold on the line at SummerSlam.
