The Miz – “Vince McMahon Has Always Been A Big Supporter Of Me”

WWE Champion The Miz has named both Vince McMahon and his wife Maryse as the two biggest supporters of his career thus far.

On February 21 at WWE Elimination Chamber, The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre following a ruthless attack by Bobby Lashley. One Skull Crushing Finale later and ‘The A-Lister’ was a two time WWE Champion with a target already painted on his back.

Now, the self-proclaimed ‘Most Must See WWE Champion’ has sat down with British newspaper The Metro to discuss the two people who have been his biggest supporters during his career. His wife Maryse and his boss Vince McMahon:

“I honestly think my biggest supporter is my wife. There’s no one that supports me more. Whenever she is outside – when she was outside the ring and being my manager, she motivated me, she made me better. Honestly, whenever you have a beautiful wife and she’s staring at you and your in a Speedo, you kinda stand a little taller, to be honest!

If I’m really talking about it as well, I’d say my wife and you know who else? Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon has always been a big supporter of me. I think he enjoys my work ethic as well as my talents. I think he sees the ability that I have, and is able to showcase me in RAW, SmackDown, pay-per-views, commercials. Whatever WWE needs, I am a guy that can do it and do it to an elite level talent, and be a main event caliber superstar who represents this company like it should be represented.”

Currently, The Miz’s WWE Championship reign is already in jeopardy courtesy of Bobby Lashley who will cash-in on the promise of The Miz that if he helped him win the gold then ‘The Almighty’ would be first in line for a shot on the March 1 Monday Night Raw.
