Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler are getting a proper build ahead of their match at SummerSlam and two strong names are helping behind the scenes.
Wade Keller of Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that the video packages fan saw on last night’s WWE Raw featuring Rousey and Baszler all came in part greatly due to Paul Heyman and Jeremy Borash pulling the creative strings. The videos displayed an emotional end to Rousey and Baszler’s friendship turned feud and helped raise the stakes for their upcoming fight in Detroit this weekend.
Keller reports that the videos were actually produced last Tuesday by Borash and his team down in Orlando, FL with Heyman sitting in for input.

Heyman is notorious for elevating talent with his creativity. Since his days in WCW and eventually ECW, Heyman has displayed an innate ability to highlight a wrestler’s talent and diminish any weaknesses that they may have. As for Borash, he became an invaluable asset while working for TNA and continued that trend ever since working for WWE. Borash has reportedly been Triple H’a “right-hand man” and in the past has had his hands in memorable moments, including the Boneyard Match that went down between Undertaker and AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.
Although he never managed Rousey, Heyman has been a big advisor for “The Baddest Woman On The Planet” and did mention before that she, along with Roman Reigns, was on his short list to manage.
