“Screw Him, He’s Dead” – Paul Heyman On Bobby Heenan Being The “GOAT” Manager

Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman thinks he’s the undisputed “GOAT” manager – even better than Bobby Heenan.

The Wise Man joined his client Roman Reigns on ESPN’s First Take ahead of WWE SummerSlam and gave a bold statement to Stephen A. Smith regarding his own legacy in the business as pro wrestling manager, “advocate” or “adviser.”

“I’m the GOAT. I’m the greatest of all time. Undisputed.

“Want me to prove to you that I’m the GOAT? I’m with him (nodding towards Reigns). Why would he settle anything less than the GOAT? He’s the Tribal Chief.

“He has smashed every box office record that WWE has ever had, not just domestically but all over the world on a global basis.”

Paul Heyman Has Some Blunt Words Regarding Bobby Heenan

During Heyman’s diatribe on his own greatness, Stephen A. Smith did make mention of the late legendary Bobby Heenan as the original GOAT, but the former head of ECW dismissed the WWE Hall Of Famer in the most heelish way possible.

“Screw Him, he’s dead.”

Smith was impressed with Paul’s pontification as he shared a video of himself standing by The Wise Man expressing his envy for his ability to brag and stating one day, he’ll take Heyman’s job.

Heyman certainly does fit in the category of all-time great managers considering some of the names he’s been in the corner for. While in WWE, Heyman has been the manager for Reigns, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar to name a few, but he also had a legendary list way before that as Paul E. Dangerously with the Dangerous Alliance. Back then in WCW, Heyman “advised” the likes of Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Madusa, Larry Zbyszko and none other than “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

Heyman will certainly be ringside this weekend for Reigns as the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion will be putting his title on the line against his cousin, Jey Uso.
