Danhausen “Coming Back Soon”

Danhausen makes his entrance AEW Dynamite 2022

One of AEW’s most beloved acts Danhausen is returning to AEW very soon.

A vignette aired on the October 6th, 2023 episode of AEW Rampage stating that the “very nice but very evil” star was on his way back to the promotion.

The vignette that very closely mirrored that of the hypnotic adverts played in the Halloween 3: Season of the Witch movie featured Danhausen singing his catchphrase “very nice, very evil” and saying that he was coming back soon. It ended with the phrase “love that Danhausen”.

There was no date given for the demon’s return but with spooky season on the horizon it seems like October 31st could be the perfect time for his comeback.

How Long Has Danhausen Been Away From AEW?

Danhausen has been out of action since March 2023, when he suffered a torn pectoral muscle at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. He had teamed with Orange Cassidy on the show, losing to The Gunns in a four-way match that also involved The Acclaimed and Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett.

Danhausen made his professional wrestling debut on October 18th, 2013, for MPW. He quickly gained a reputation for his unique gimmick, which is a mix of comedy and horror. He is known for his spooky attire, painted face, and failed attempts to possess his opponents.

He competed on the independent circuit for several years before signing with ROH in 2019. He quickly became a fan favourite in ROH and was named Best New Star at the 2020 ROH Year-End Awards.

He signed with AEW in 2022 and became a much-loved character and even formed the short-lived duo Jerichohausen with Chris Jericho.
