AR Fox Kicked Out Of Mogul Embassy As Punishment By AEW

AR Fox kicked out of Mogul Embassy

AR Fox has not been winning friends backstage in AEW.

Back in July, Fox joined forces with Swerve Strickland and the Mogul Embassy Affiliates. From here, Fox fought side by side with Strickland against Sting and Darby Allin. The rivalry set up a Tag Team Coffin Match between the four men at All In.

However, on the episode of Dynamite before the show, Fox was kicked out of the group and replaced in the match by Christian Cage. The move didn’t seem to make much sense to fans and was greeted with confusion online.

Since then it’s been revealed that Fox was pulled from the match because he’s unable to enter the UK. However, the star had led AEW to believe that he could, something that reportedly hasn’t gone down well.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Fox being kicked out of the Mogul Embassy was a punishment for causing the match to be changed.

“Christian replaced AR Fox. Fox had assured AEW that he could get into the country but they found out just days before that he couldn’t. As punishment they kicked him out of Mogul Enterprises and shot an angle for Christian to get in. Rappers Flash Garmens and DJ Whoo Kid rapped Strickland to the ring, and he was wearing Jimmy Rave’s old robe as a tribute.”

AR Fox Has Heat With AEW

The update from Meltzer comes after it was reported by Fightful Select that AR Fox has heat backstage. The report from Fightful explains that while Fox is generally well-liked in AEW, he’s picked up some heat for the situation. AEW believes the star wasn’t open enough about being unable to work international dates, something he hasn’t done since 2016.

As seen in Strickland’s entrance, The Embassy member paid tribute to a member who has since passed on.
