Chris Jericho Left Stunned As Ex-WWE Superstar Makes Shock AEW Debut

Chris Jericho AEW Dynamite

A ghost from Chris Jericho’s past has come back to haunt him as his rivalry with Adam Cole has seen another shocking debut.

On the May 24th episode of Dynamite, there was a contract signing for the Unsanctioned Match between the two men. During the segment, Cole delivered a number of threats, commenting that he was glad Jericho agreed to an Unsanctioned Match as the blood won’t be on AEW’s hands, it will be on his.

After being called a “b*tch,” Jericho said that he couldn’t be because he’s not from Las Vegas, before showing footage of Britt Baker being attacked from weeks earlier on the big screen. As the tension continued to increase, Jericho claimed that Cole’s head injury must still be affecting him as at Double or Nothing there are five of the Jericho Appreciation Society against just Cole and Roderick Strong.

However, Cole had a plan and quickly introduced the Suicidal, Homicidal, and Genocidal Sabu. The veteran made his way to the ring and hit Matt Menard before the JAS made their escape.

Sabu’s debut comes just a month after Strong made his own AEW to help Cole in his battle against Jericho and his followers.
