WWE WrestleMania 39

The biggest event in the WWE calendar is almost upon us – on Saturday 1st April and Sunday 2nd April, WrestleMania 39 will be taking place in star-studded Hollywood. This year’s Premium Live Event is one that will see WWE’s hottest Superstars looking to settle scores with their rivals – both personal and professional.

Here’s all you need to know about WrestleMania 39.

What Is WrestleMania?

WrestleMania is WWE’s premier Premium Live Event and is the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history – having started back in 1985 at the iconic Madison Square Garden. It focuses on main event matches for The Undisputed Universal World Champion, Raw Women’s Championship, and Smackdown Women’s, among others – showcasing the biggest and best talent that WWE has to offer.

Where Will WrestleMania Be Held?

WrestleMania 39 will be held at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home to NFL’s LA Chargers and The LA Rams. It’s the first time the event has been held in Hollywood since WrestleMania 21 back in 2005.

How Many People Watch WrestleMania?

Year after year, WrestleMania breaks records for the number of attendees and overall viewers. WrestleMania 38 saw WWE break its own record for the highest-ever attendance at a Premium Live Event, with 156,352 fans congregating at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

As the biggest event in the WWE calendar, it often boasts major celebrity spectators, some of whom even get involved in the drama…with past cameos from stars such as Pamela Anderson, Shaquille O’Neal, Johnny Knoxville, and Kim Kardashian, to name a few.

Who Is On The Match Card For WrestleMania So Far?

Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes

Following his triumph over 29 other Superstars in the 2023 Royal Rumble Match, Cody Rhodes will get the opportunity to realise his dream, when he challenges the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in the headline match. Will Reigns retain the Title he has held for over 900 days, or will the American Nightmare prevail?

John Cena vs Austin Theory

A dream will soon become a reality for Theory, as he finally gets the chance to face the man he looks up to most, John Cena. Will Cena give Theory an attitude adjustment, or could Cena face being on the receiving end of an A-Town Down?

Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs Logan Paul

In a highly-personal matchup, Seth “Freakin” Rollins is set to go to war with Logan Paul at The Showcase of the Immortals. Logan Paul is undeniably one of the biggest social media stars in the world, and the co-creator of PRIME alongside KSI – but can he continue his incredible start as an official WWE Superstar when he faces one of the best in the business?

Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley

Charlotte Flair, daughter of the sixteen-time World Champion Ric Flair, takes the world stage to stand her ground and defend her title against Royal Rumble victor Rhea Ripley. With the Judgement Day behind her, will Rhea prove herself as WWE’s fastest-rising star, by taking down the Flair dynasty?

The Miz hosting WrestleMania 39

First introduced to TV audiences as one of the seven strangers on “The Real World: Back to New York,” The Miz parlayed his reality TV fame into a legitimate WWE career. His accomplishments extend far beyond the action inside the squared circle, however, as evidenced by being the host of the most must-see talk show in WWE history, “Miz TV,” and his starring role in his own primetime reality show alongside his wife Maryse and daughters Monroe and Madison, “Miz & Mrs.” He also starred as a contestant on this past season of “Dancing With The Stars” (US’s version of Strictly Come Dancing). What could The Miz have planned as WrestleMania host…?

Other matches include Bianca Belair against Asuka in the Raw Women’s Championship; Brock Lesnar and Omos…and a clash of the titans will occur when Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch, and Lita take on the Damage CTRL squad!
