Kenny Omega & Jon Moxley Express Their Excitement For AEW Blood & Guts

Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley are both excited for AEW Blood & Guts, but for different reasons.

In light of the WarGames like fight taking place tonight in Boston on AEW Dynamite, Omega and Moxley spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and Moxley was more than amped for his Blackpool Combat Club to battle The Elite.

“I f*cking love TD Garden and Boston. What a building, what a crowd. It’s going to be f*cking awesome.”

“We’re going after the best, or at least the supposed best, in The Elite. The freaking company is named after them. Blood & Guts is our chance to plant our flag as the most dominant group in AEW.

“I’m f*cking excited as all hell to bring something very unique—our version of Blood & Guts—to those fans and all the history of pro wrestling in Boston. I don’t know if anyone in The Elite has ever wrestled in the TD Garden before.”

Jon Moxley was right in his assessment as Omega and all of his fellow partners in the Blood & Guts bout never have wrestled in the home of the Boston Celtics. However, Omega made known that he’s looking forward to a new challenge.

“Up until my cage match against Moxley on Dynamite, I’d never been in a cage match. For years and years and years and years, that always eluded me. This is an even more rare opportunity with the double ring and double cage, and it’s another cool test for me.”

Blood & Guts features Omega, The Young Bucks, Adam Page and Kota Ibushi teaming up to face Moxley, Claudio Castangoli, Wheeler Yuta, Konosuke Takeshita and PAC. Along with Ibushi, the latter was a surprise reveal last week after it was made known Bryan Danielson wasn’t going to be able to compete in the fight. Someone who will be keeping a watchful eye on the fight live and in attendance will be the heelish Don Callis who suffered a fan attack earlier in the week.
