AEW Collision Segment Blasted As “A Bad NXT Or IMPACT Segment”

AEW Collision Segment Blasted As

Dave Meltzer expressed his criticism towards a segment that aired on AEW Collision.

The segment in question featured AEW stars Preston Vance and Dralistico drinking in Mexico, only to be abruptly interrupted by a group of masked men who proceeded to kidnap them. The segment concluded with the words “to be continued” appearing on the screen.

In the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer did not hold back in his assessment of the segment, comparing it to what he deemed as subpar segments seen in NXT or IMPACT Wrestling.

They showed Preston Vance and Dralistico in Mexico drinking. Then some masked guys kidnapped Vance and Dralistico and then it said, “to be continued.” This came across like a bad NXT or Impact segment.

While Meltzer’s criticism can be seen as subjective, it’s worth noting that he holds a significant influence within the wrestling community and his opinions often carry weight.
