Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament Matches Added To AEW Dynamite

MJF To Defend AEW World Title At All In

Four stars will begin their bid for the AEW World Championship on Dynamite.

With MJF teaming with Adam Cole to defend the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles at All Out, it was announced that a tournament would begin to decide a new number-one contender for the AEW World Championship.

The winner of the tournament will meet MJF at Grand Slam on September 20th.

In the first two quarter-finals on Dynamite, Darby Allin will meet Nick Wayne, while Roderick Strong takes on Trent Beretta. Allin and Wayne have been allies in recent weeks as they’ve taken the fight to the Mogul Embassy. Wayne was also by Allin’s side at All Out as he tried to win the TNT championship. The face-painted star took a heavy beating during that match and after the bell, eventually being helped from the ring.
