Jade Cargill Praises “Phenomenal Boss” Tony Khan

Tony Khan Addresses Jade Cargill's AEW Absence

Jade Cargill has been very complimentary of her relationship with Tony Khan.

The first-ever TBS Champion has not been seen on AEW TV since losing the title to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing. Despite the lengthy absence, Cargill has revealed that she still keeps in touch with the boss.

Speaking with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Cargill revealed that she is in frequent contact with Khan and is very appreciative of how responsive he is despite his busy schedule:

“I am [in contact], always. He’s a phenomenal boss. I can literally hit him up now and he’d probably hit me back up in three minutes. This is a man who has four companies, a professional soccer team, Jacksonville Jaguars, he’s busy, [but] he literally comes to every show. He’s so passionate, he loves our company. There’s no other place I’d want to be. He doesn’t look at me as a number, he looks at me like a human being. He knows my journey and understands my purpose in the wrestling community and what I want to achieve and I don’t think you can beat that. You can’t beat this in a very interesting sport.”

Will Jade Cargill Return To AEW?

The former TBS Champion is yet to make an appearance to either attempt to reclaim the title that she never lost or go after Saraya’s AEW Women’s Championship. Asked about the absence at the All Out media scrum, Khan told the media that he had talked to Cargill recently and for everyone to “stay tuned.”

Expressing his disappointment in the current state of the Women’s Divison in AEW, Jim Cornette believes that the company needs to bring Cargill back sooner rather than later.

In an update to this story, Cargill finally made her return to AEW on the September 9th edition of Collision.
